Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Disha Patani starring film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai released on May 13 this year. The film did not get a theatrical release in India due to the Coronavirus lockdown after the second wave of COVID-19. With ease in the lockdown restrictions in Maharashtra recently, the theatre halls across the state which come under Level 1 and Level 2 got permission to resume operations. Now, as per the report, two cinemas in Maharashtra is ‘Now Showing’ Radhe.
Taking to Instagram, ZeeStudio made a post and shared a string of pictures featuring moviegoers enjoying the Drive-in cinema experience. The film playing was Salman’s Radhe. The pictures were shared with the caption, “Your Most Wanted Bhai is waiting to meet you in Malegaon! #Radhe, now playing at Drive in Malegaon!” Apart from the Enjoy, a Drive-in cinema at Malegaon, the Khinvasara Cineplex of Aurangabad, earlier known as Apsara Cinema also started showing the film. The cinema at Malegaon is running two shows of the film, one at 7:30 pm and the other at 9:30 pm respectively. The Khinvasara Cineplex will be screening Radhe four times in a day at 12 noon, 3:00 pm, 6:15 pm and 9:30 pm respectively.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, when contacted Tushar Tisage, the owner of Drive-in cinema said, “For the 7:30 pm show, 22 people came to watch the film in the car while 40 viewers sat on the chairs.” Tisage added, “We had to cancel the 9:30 pm show as nobody turned up.” Suhas Kotecha, manager of Khinvasara Cineplex, shared, “We sold just 22 tickets across 4 shows yesterday.” He also said that they will continue to screen the film and maybe reduce the number of shows from 4 to 2 after a few days. A trade source in the report said that the Aurangabad theatre collected Rs 2420, while the Drive-in in Malegaon collected Rs. 3597.86. The source said, “So, the total collections yesterday were Rs. 6017.86. All these are approximate figures.”

Meanwhile, the film Radhe Your Most Wanted had released in only 3 cinemas in the state of Tripura. It screened in 2 Agartala and 1 Dharmanagar theatres. From Day 5, the film screened only at the Dharmanagar cinema after Agartala went into lockdown. Salman Khan’s film received a great response from the fans and audience after it released on ZeePlex. The film was directed by Prabhudeva and also starred Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff.
